WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
Gold filled is a premium, durable alternative to plating. Unlike gold plated jewellery, which uses a very thin layer of gold, 14k gold filled contains at least 5% real gold, mechanically bonded to a base metal.
This makes it up to 100 times thicker than gold plating and more long-lasting than vermeil. It is hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and incredibly well suited for everyday wear.
WHAT IS VERMEIL?
Gold vermeil is a high-quality method of gold finishing. It uses a solid sterling silver base coated with a thick layer of gold (usually 2.5 microns or more).
WHAT ARE LABORATORY GEMSTONES & DIAMONDS?
Synthetic gemstones are meticulously crafted in a laboratory using the same chemical and physical processes as natural stones. Each stone is a genuine gemstone, identical in composition and elegance—the only distinction being its origin. Free from mining, these stones offer a refined, eco-conscious alternative.
WHAT ARE IMITATION GEMSTONES?
Imitation gemstones are crafted from materials such as glass, plastic, or ceramics to mimic the appearance of real stones. Unlike genuine or lab-grown gemstones, these are mass-produced and lack the durability, brilliance, and unique character of a real gem.
At TAIANE, we never use imitation gemstones, as they do not meet the high-quality standards we uphold for every piece.
ARE YOUR EARRINGS HEAVY?
We strive for comfort. Even our statement earrings are designed to be as lightweight as possible, typically under 9g per ear.

DO YOUR PIECES CONTAIN NICKEL?
No. All Taiane jewellery is 100% nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and safe for sensitive skin.
HOW SUSTAINABLE ARE YOUR MATERIALS?
We use up to 35% recycled and locally sourced metals, and produce in small batches to minimise waste. Our model is intentional and slow: no mass production, no overstock. Packaging is minimal and plastic-free.
All diamonds used in our pieces are lab-grown and conflict-free, ensuring ethical sourcing without compromising on brilliance or quality.

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we may be able to update or cancel it.

THE PIECE I WANT IS OUT OF STOCK. WILL IT RETURN?
Possibly. Some designs are permanent, others limited.
Email info@taianelab.com with the item name — we can tell you whether a restock or special request is possible.
HOW DOES PRE-ORDER WORK?
Payment is taken at checkout to reserve your item.
Each pre-order item lists its estimated dispatch date on the product page.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ORDER HAS BEEN RECEIVED?
Right after checkout, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, we ship worldwide to most countries.
Prices automatically adjust to your local currency when you choose your shipping country.

WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY TIMES?
Typical transit times:
• UK: 2-3 business days.
• Europe: 4–5 business days
• International: 6–7 business days

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once shipped, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link so you can follow your parcel in real time.
RETURNS
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
Returned pieces must arrive back to us within 14 days of your return request.
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be worn if you plan to return them.

HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?
To start a return, email info@taianelab.com with your order number.
Return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?
After your return is inspected and approved, refunds are issued within 10 days.
You will receive an email confirmation once it has been processed.

CARE & WARRANTY
DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?
Yes, every Taiane piece comes with a 3-month manufacturer’s warranty.
This covers craftsmanship issues such as breakage or faults.
It does not cover wear and tear (like scratches or tarnish), or loss/theft.
To make a claim, email info@taianelab.com with your order number and a photo of the piece.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY?
Wipe your jewellery gently with a soft cloth after wear. Avoid exposure to oils, perfumes, lotions, and moisture. Store each item separately in your TAIANE pouch or box to prevent scratching or tangling.
Keep your pieces in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

CUSTOM ORDERS
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM JEWELLERY?
Yes, we are happy to discuss both custom and semi-custom options, including metal changes and completely unique designs.
Custom pieces take 7–10 working days to dispatch. Custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
